Privacy policy

Here’s what happens to your information when you use KabirLauncher. We don’t sell it, and the app has no advertising trackers or analytics SDKs.

What stays on your phone

Your home layout, preferences and optional app-usage suggestions are stored or processed locally. The current app has no account system or analytics SDK. We don’t receive a copy of your installed-app list, contacts, notification contents, selected files or usage history.

Permissions are for features

Usage Access helps suggest apps. Contacts access enables contact search. Notification Access enables badges. File search uses folders you select through Android. You can revoke access in Android settings. Removing the app clears its private local storage; downloaded files and system wallpapers may remain.

Online features

Weather and city search send the city query or selected city’s coordinates to Open-Meteo. Web suggestions send search text to Google; opening Google or Play Store search shares your query with those services. News loads Google News RSS. These providers receive ordinary connection information, including your IP address, and follow their own policies.

This website and wallpaper downloads

Our own pages do not include analytics scripts or advertising trackers. The support section embeds Ko-fi, which receives your IP address and browser information when its widget loads and may use cookies under its own privacy policy. Loading pages and wallpaper previews sends normal web requests to the hosting provider. Hosting infrastructure may retain security and access logs, including IP addresses. This site is hosted on ChatGPT Sites. The hosting service processes requests to deliver pages and downloads.

Donations and messages

Ko-fi handles donations under its own policies. We don’t receive your card details. If you contact us or donate, the information you choose to share through that service may be visible to us. You can reach Kabir Invents through our Ko-fi page.

Changes

If our data practices change, we’ll update this page and its date. This policy describes the current pre-release app and website.
